SOCIAL LABRO WEEK 6

FOR THIS WEEK WE PLANNED A DIFFERENT TOPIC THIS ONE WASS ETIQUETTE!!!.

when we arrived there were 7 socias waiting for us to give them our trainings and it also was a guy that was a nephew from a socia! im glad to see how socias like our traingis and because of that they bring more a more people related tpo them so they can learn a little bit of what we are teaching.

With this training what we wantted to the socias to learn was the correct ways to introduce others and themselves, the priorities at the moment of introduce two people according to the sex, age and social or profesional status, presentation formulas and the attitude that they must have when they are presented, we also taught them tjhe coprrect way to sit!. like always we made some activities so they could learn in a better way! like all trainings we gave them the material so they could take it home and practice.

the socias were really excited and they loved pur training, they were very grateful and glad because they told us how important was to them because for example when they have meetings in the Cooperativa or in other places, most of the times they don´t know what to do or how to behave.

SOCIAL LABOR.- WEEK 5

For this week there were more socias one of them brought their daughter named britany and another socia broughtv their beautifull little son of 4 years old name Aaron.

Well this training that was prepared to the socias was about introductions as Iam, Nice to meet you.., Nice to meet you to, What is your name..?, etc. we used the same tactic that we aplyed the first time: writing the spelling, pronuncitaion and translation in spanish on the board so in that way tey can copy and review at homne what we learned in all the classes. We made them participate with us and we made a dialog using all the things that we have learned in inglish. like greeting and also we oractice the Iam and nce to meet you. At first we had some diuficulties with their pronunciation...but then they did it veryy veryy good>!. we realized that they really apreciated what we had been teaching them because they started to practice between them.

Now the relationship that i cuold do with our class about our capacitacion in the Cooperativa de Ahiorro y Credito DE TODAS is that what we are doing there with the socias y a great example of mutualism, because in this capacitacion i develop my self by putting in practice what i know, so im helping my self BUT im helping my self by helping others in this case we are transmitting our knowledge to the socias so im helping me and helping them!!!.

SOCIAL LABOR.- WEEK 4

For this week we planned to keep going with english, whe we arrive there were the same socias that were the last time, but one of the came wiht her niece to we had one more patricipant in our capacitaion.

As I said before we were going to move on with english but as we started we realized that the socias didnt felt confident about the last class, so we reconsidered to teach the class that we had prepared and we reviwed Greetings and Introductions.
By doing this we wanted to enhance their knowledge and also to clarufy their doubts and we wanted to make them fell more confortble with the english so they could remember what we had tought.

I felt really proud because i noticed that the socias where trying really hard and they felt cojnfident about themselves and they spoke english more fluently,,,welkl what we had tought them.Now they can greet and make and introduction abouot themselves in english wihtout any problem!!!!!!

So know i know that by making little things i reeally could help people to learn so in this way i think that im making a contribution not only for by but to the society too like loftinness that we had seen on class!.

SOCIAL LABOR.- WEEK 3

To this saturday we had prepared an English capacitation for the socias. We arrived there at 9 am. my classmates and I were expecting to find the same amount of socias that the first week but for our surprice there were only 4. we all felt kind of disappointed and we dindt know how to react because we thought that the socias didnt like our capacitations so thats why they dint go, but then the 4 socias explained us the reason why they didnt go so there we felt a little less sad.

Well after that moment we were going to start with our program and the first thing we were going to teach was PRESENTATIONS. for this class we used copies from a book that the municipio used for an education program Aprendamos.This capacitation consisted in teaching to the socias how to salute and introduce themselves. the first day we went to la cooperativa we talked to the socias and asked them what topics would they like to be thouhgt and there we told us that they wanted English because nowdays you have to know at least 2 languages so they told us that for them english was very important that that some of them knew a little bit but some of them didnt knew anything. So going back to wweek 3 when we started the training it was very difficult to some socias the pronunciation and writting, but then we did some activities that made them practice what they`ve learned. this activitie consisted in that each socia had to introduce herself with the other socia and so on. They surpriced us!!!! they did it very well!.

So meanwhile we were practiciong we algo wrote the procunciation the spelling and the meaning in spanish in the board so in that way they could copy it in their note books that they could make a sumary about what they have learned.

So the first training of english was finished and the socias and my friends and I were realy happy because they learned new things in english and we realized that they did llike our capacitaiton. i really like this expericen about being a teacher of english!.

Well I have to say that this and all of our trainings are related to difussing knowledge because we are sharing our knowledge in a very good way to people that do not know this language. i think that we have a very good level of english so i dont think that we have to stay at home and doing nothing when we can share our knowledge to some people that do not know about this or any topic that we know something about. itn also is related to the learning cycle because first we have to study the situation and the nneds of the socias in order to know what training to do, then we talked and planned the activities and finally we implant our actions by giving them the capacitation.

Cognitive Surplus

After watching this video it made me realize how do I spend my free time by doing nothing procutive. i used to be a primarily consumer becacuse in most of the time that i had free time, i spend it by watching television, internet, facebook, taking a nap or things like that instead of reading a book, tranmiting my knowledge to others, or helping people to do something. so in that way i can become a producer.

i think that by going to la coperativa de todas Ive become more aware of the labor that we are doing and this makes me feel good because im helping other people to learn things that they dont nknow.and also that im not spending my7 free time doing things that are not productive so instead y can help my comunity.

when we are inthe messenger, facebook,sleeping we do not realize that we are losing our potentialities and qualities we arent exploting the at the maximo that we can give. LAZZYNESS is a big factor that makes us pasive consumers so we have to overcome that and we ha ve to use our free time to create knowledge and ideas and share those things with others, so in that way we are not helping not only ourselves but also the SOCIETYY!!!!

SOCIAL LABOR.- WEEK 2

We went to la Cooperativa on saturday, juen 13th, this was going to be our first capacitation to the socias a De todas.Our first capacitation was about custumer service. for this capacitation we planned some activities and some materian so we coult teach them in a better way. me made slides related to the topic, activities in group so they could interact wiht each other and the also can aply the theory.
then it was time for a break and we took some snacks so they cpuld eat a little bit.

We started the capatitacion at 9:30am and I have tyo say that I was really nervous, we we arrived the socias were already there. there were like 15 to 20 socias.
at first my firends and a I made a little intriduction about ourselves and then it was time for the socias in order to know them better.
we made 2 activities in our capacitation. the first one was a puzzle were the socias had to order an make the puzzle with the pieces that we gave them and then they had to answer the cuestion that echa piece of that puzzle had that then to paste it in the board and at the end that puzzle had a phrase of motivation to evweryone coul use not only in their work but also in their daily life.
then we continued with our presentation and we showed to las socias our slides were we explained more about the topic and we also talked about internal and external custumer, there we explained the differece between each one.
our next activity wiht the socias was a play.... they had to create a play were they aply the concepts that we gave them they had to creat a problem that involves custumer service abnd they had to also find the solution for this problem.
meanwhile they were doing this activity i realize how the socias were paticipating on this and it made me realize how good we are doing to this women, i saw how they enjoy playing and joking arround but always for making the acitities.they showed us that they really understand what we had tought them.

At the end we showed them in our slides, some tips to improve their internal and external custumer service in their work, we hope that our tips helop them in a very good way.

SOCIAL LABOR.- WEEK 1

IT WAS SATURDAY MORNING JUNE 26TH whe we visited cooperativa the todas, it wsa our first visit and we all were very nervous,in our firsdt visit we were going to explain to the socias whast was our visit during 12 saturdays about.
we arrive to the cooperativa at nine o`clock and we started to talk wiht the socias. first we explained the our proyect and how this would help them like support and advice to their business and give them training about some interesting topics in order to contribute to their development. then we wanted to know them more so the socias decided to tell us their stories of their lifes. it was very shocking listening to thaeir tellings because there i realize how lucky i am to have some thing that they do not have for exapmple i can study and manny of them didnt have the chance to do that, one socia told us that she got married really young and she dint finish highschool so her husband never let her study so she had to study behind his bqack. and stories like that we listened the all morning and that made me realize that they are the clear example of perseverance and constance.

after listening to all the stories then we asked them about what topics would they like to learn about so we could prepare that to the next week and also in order to improve their lifes and business, so with these information we could start the training and advice the next week. They told us that they wanted to learn about marketing, also about English, they liked also to learn about computer.


wherbn we left Coopertavia de todoas , my friends and me started to create a discourse so we could stard making our capacitation. we started by detecting the necessities and problems of the socias. we started totalk toeach other and we studied the problems in order to make decisions about what is the best to teach and what we can do to improve and help the socias´s business.

finally i want this social labor not just for my grade but instad i think this is a great start to change our socity, today we start in one place but tomorrow we can be helping many communities. i think that teaching other peopple what we know its an excellent way to puto our knowledge in practice.

DIET FOR A NEW AMERICA

Watch the videos about diet give an introduction to explore this topic, because the videos inform us that the society is really concerned about the nature and the health and the welfare of others, but also the way people eat, and the reading the Investigation of Truth, tell us the "necessaraly be based on an accurate undestanding of human nature."

we have to start to become in poersons that seeks for the truth, we have to be able to be consious of that we have to start to gain moreand more knowlegde. humans are trying to be better and better so they could reacho perfection so this has created the need to know more and more things, we have to be consious of what is happening all arround us, we have to be every day in search of new things to contribute to the tranformation of our life and also to our society.

if we want to have balance in our lifes we need to be sure of what are we seeling of as individual; as a material person we are finding how to survive in this changin world and we are also lookinf for new strategies and technologies to be better,but in the spiritual part we are more consious of what is happening arround us and why? we loook to the transformation and we stablish some goals co acomplis.

as humann beings thar we are, we have to be aware that the world is a beautiifull place to live, and we are also destroying it. as the society that we are we have to star to take care of our enviroment and animals we have to put in practice our moral values and be more consious that we are the only responsable of the pollutiojn and also the deterioration of the ozone layer, this alson bring problmes becaus animals are getting extict.

so the relationships between the videos and the reading is that the humanas because ture do not think that is doing harm to natureand also the animals by the way we treat them.

this movie makes an emphasis on how we shoul start to care not only for the animals but for our health.if we want to take care of the animals we have to start to eat less meat, son in that way we are also contributing to the enviroment

SOCIETY AND THE ROLE OF THE INDIVIDUAL

WHEn I FIRST STARTED THIS COURSE I DINDIT KNOW WHAT WAS THIS CLASS ABOUT BUT AS THE TIME passes by now i realize that this class prvides me many important things that i never thought about in order to contribute in a better way to the society and also where i live.
one topic that i liked the most is the one about COOPERATION, cooperation is the key for resolve problems in group, it motivates pepople to work together to and it to reach their individuals and common goals.another term that i also like is competition and how this term differs to cooperation. sometimes competition can be good but sometimes we can get confused and we aply in our lives very bad.
i didnt have idea that i was living in a very diferent way before i started this class i thought that the problems that are in the society like: poverty, corruption, etc., were situations or problems that only our Government casn resolve. the i realized that we all are responsable of what is happening arround us. we have to start thinking not just in ourselves but in others too, if we start thinking like this we could have a very good transformation in society so our society could reach maturity.

what i would like to learn in this class is about woorking in groups not only in classes but also in societys how its said 2 brains think more than one.

cooperativa de ahorro y credito DE TODAS

On Thursday we visited la Cooperativa de ahorro y credito “De Todas” it was a very interesting visit, because I learned how this people started their own business with a little amount of money, and with the help of this cooperative.


This cooperativa works by giving them a credit of a 100dollars so they could start their little own business and they gave them a month to pay, when the month passes by they have to pay, then if they want to ask for another , they gave them a bigger credit and so one. That’s the way they help this woman so they can move on with their lives and be a better person and so they can provide food to their houses.


We interviewed 2 people,The first person we interviewed was Marisella Perez, she have 23 years and she live in Las Malbinas.they explain us how they started their own little business, after going through whole process of the Cooperativa.Marisellatold us whow she felt and she was very proud of her self , she told us that she could not believe that was capable of being productive and able to grow as a person and to help economically in their home, so she maximize this opportunity.
what motivates Marisella to keep in cooperative is that they are in contant capacitation where they teach them to be better women,anbd also values. her business is selling clothes, and she always pays their debt in the they that is given.

the second person we interviewed was Vanessa Burgos she feel very happyfor being part of this cooperativa, the reason why she invested in this cooperativa was because they provided her credit facilities, they give her capacitation to learn what bussines she can put. She knew this cooperativa along time ago, but she didnt become a partner inmediately. What motivates vanessa to continue in this cooperativa are her desires to become a better person and the capacitations she receive. She started with a bazar selling cell phone cards. now it has been able to buy a a copy machine and she also sells products by catalog.

well if i relate what i lived there with our clases i coulkd say that the people whow built and manages this types of intitutions, they could be and example of discourse because they are part of a community that likes to share their idea and to study a problem, in la Cooperativa i think that the problem is being solve by helping this laddies to be a better person asnd to move on why their lifes.
